Free Trial Terms

These Terms govern the waitlist signup for the free trial of the ARI modules (ARIknow, ARIdb, ARIdoc) offered by Black Bytes SA ("Black Bytes", "we") on ari.bytes.black, "Free trial" section.

By signing up through the form on this page, you declare that you have read and accepted these Terms.

Signing up to the waitlist is free and non-binding. It does not constitute a service agreement, does not create any obligation to purchase, and can be withdrawn at any time (see section 5).

It is an expression of interest that allows us to organize the activations described in section 3.

Trial activations start from September 2026, assigned in signup order.

Black Bytes reserves the right to adjust the timing indicated for organizational reasons, and to prioritize specific requests when it deems appropriate for the proper management of available capacity. We will keep you informed of any material changes.

The free trial covers the ARIknow, ARIdb and ARIdoc modules, according to the usage terms and fair-use limits that Black Bytes communicates at activation. No payment or credit card details are required for the entire duration of the trial.

You can request removal from the waitlist at any time by writing to marketing@bytes.black, with no consequence or penalty.

If you do not respond to our activation outreach, your request is simply considered closed: no automatic charge applies.

The processing of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which fully applies to this signup as well.

In addition: data and content uploaded to the activated trial space are deleted within 30 days of the trial's conclusion, unless you request earlier deletion or a commercial agreement is reached for continued use of the service.

Prices shown on the site at the time of signup are indicative and may change between the signup date and the activation date.

Conversion to a paid plan at the end of the trial is not automatic: it requires a separate, explicit commercial agreement between you and Black Bytes.

The free trial is reserved for those acting in the course of a professional or business activity (B2B use). It is not intended for private consumers.

During the trial phase, the service is provided "as is", without guarantees of continuous availability (uptime) or formal SLAs, which apply exclusively to paid plans activated through a separate agreement.

We may update these Terms to reflect organizational or regulatory changes. The last-updated date is shown at the top of this document; in case of material changes, we will notify you by email if we have it on file.

These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Lugano, Switzerland, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules that may apply.
